Excellent food. We went for the Thai banquet for two. Good value for money and great food. Acoustics could do with improving and something on the bottom of the chair legs to stop the noise would be a simple fix. Staff were very pleasant. Side plates would be good to divide the meal up but otherwise an excellent night Duncan

My sis and I were hungry when we last was holiday up north. Stopped by Lucid Cafe. Found the staff very helpful and friendly. Ordered fish and chips. The battered fish was very yummy and remained crispy as we ate them. Excellent! Didn't turn soggy at all as compared to other places. We'll done!! Enjoyed every bite. Will come back.

This place is brilliant - the coffee is great, the food is delicious, and the staff and owner are really friendly. Their food is fresh and the pastry on their quiche was divine (it had been homemade that day). I particularly liked that they did half portions of the breakfasts, and the full sizes are substantial. We came here almost every day when we visited last week and absolutely loved it. Definitely a new favourite. Oh, and don’t even get me started on that view!
